MEET THE DIRECTOR
Felicia Stewart, RN, MSN
SkillsUp Healthcare Institute was founded by Felicia Stewart, RN, MSN, a nurse educator with extensive leadership experience in Long-term care, Acute care, Home care and Education. After leading CNA programs, supervising clinical experience of RNs, LPNs and Home Health Aides, Felicia saw a growing need for a student-friendly and supportive healthcare training school right here in South Jersey, where she can bring her experience, education and skills to educate and train strong skilled, competent and caring healthcare providers.
As the founder of SkillsUp Healthcare Institute, she brings over a decade of leadership, service, and commitment to excellence — values rooted deeply in her military background and continued in her work in healthcare education. Whether managing classrooms, developing curriculum, or meeting with partners, she holds herself to a high standard: finish what is started, do it with integrity, and always leave things better than you found them.
She believe in hands-on, career-ready training that doesn’t just prepare students to pass a test — it prepares them to lead, serve, and succeed. At SkillsUp, no student is left behind, and no program is delivered without care and detail. SkillsUp Healthcare Institute is more than a training school — It's a launchpad for people who want to make a difference.
